After releasing Top 4, five-star WR Terrace Marshall names a fifth school still in contention

It probably would have been helpful to know that earlier.

Five-star wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. has been the subject of much attention ahead of his college commitment. On Friday evening, Marshall Jr. made waves in announcing a top four that included Texas, Texas A&M, Miami and LSU.

However, Marshall Jr. then followed up in speaking with Woody Wommack of Rivals and it appears as if the four-team list is actually a five-team list. The TCU Horned Frogs currently have a pledge from Marshall's high school teammate, quarterback Justin Rogers, and that seems to be something of a draw based on what Marshall had to say about the program.

"Justin and I have never really said we are a package deal or anything like that. We've always said we're going to the best situation that's best for either one of us. He talks to me about them every day he's recruiting me to come but I'm just taking it slow. They throw the ball a lot and the quarterback situation without Justin is kind of down the drain but with Justin I feel like it's going to be a big difference. He's in my ear all the time. I'm going to visit again sometime soon."

The 6'3?, 192-pound receiver out of Louisiana ranks as the No. 1 wide receiver (and No. 10 player overall) by the 247Sports composite and, as such, this is a situation that everyone in the recruiting world is monitoring closely. His top five is extremely interesting and, while TCU seems to be a late addition, the Horned Frogs won't go away quietly.
