Texas A&M wide receiver Speedy Noil arrested in College Station

The wide receiver was shortly released after being held on a $600 bail.

Texas A&M wide receiver Speedy Noil was arrested in College Station on Friday afternoon for a pretty minor offense. Brazos Country Sherrif's records indicate that around 11:50 a.m., Noil was arrested for driving without a license. He was held on a $600.00 bond, but released shortly thereafter at 12:48 p.m.

The junior wide receiver caught 21 passes for 266 yards and two scores last season after having an impressive freshman season in 2014, consisting of 46 receptions for 583 yards.

This is obviously a very minor offense for Noil, but it's not the most ideal attention he wants to generate during spring practice. We will continue to update this story with any statements from TAMU or head coach Kevin Sumlin.
