"After many months of consideration I have come to the conclusion that the University of Texas is not the place for me anymore," Elliott said when he originally announced his transfer. "I love what is going on here and the future is bright, but the school doesn't fit what I originally thought it would be."
Elliott — listed at 6-foot-4 and 320 pounds, played in six games as a true freshman at Texas under Charlie Strong. However, with new coach Tom Herman in tow, Texas is undergoing a lot of changes, and it looks like Elliott is looking for a fresh start at Missouri.
Elliott recorded eight total tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss in his one season with the Longhorns.
