We all know by now that actor Matthew McConaughey is from Texas, and clearly, he loves his Longhorns. How much? Well, enough to spend his Saturday afternoon trolling fans of the Michigan Wolverines.
All of this was evident on television and the internet, as McConaughey was spotted in Ann Arbor, having himself quite a time as the Longhorns raced to a 24-3 halftime lead behind the arm of quarterback Quinn Ewers.
McGonaughey first carried a Texas Longhorns flag on the field, prior to kick off.

Of course, McConaughey was soon met at midfield by former Michigan great and one-time Heisman Trophy winner Charles Woodson, who carried a flag representing the home team. The two then took part in a playful smack-talking exchange.

Before all that, McConaughey joined the FOX pregame show while riding on a private jet. His Longhorns entered the game ranked No. 3 in the country. The Wolverines, the reigning national champs, were ranked No. 10.

Once the game began, McConaughey sported a tan leather jacket, blue jeans and a brown cowboy hat. It was 100 percent Texas, as the actor so often proudly reveals. He also talked a little trash on the sideline — we think — with former MLB great and current Michigan fan Derek Jeter.

Per ESPN:
"This is just the second meeting between these two college football blue bloods. The first came in the Rose Bowl following the 2004 season. This game, although early in the season, carries massive CFP implications. According to the Allstate Playoff Predictor, Texas would have an 81% chance of reaching the playoff with a win and a 51% chance with a loss. Michigan needs the win more. Should the Wolverines lose, they would have just a 15% chance to return to the CFP."
