The CFB season just started but one coach is already considered to be the favorite to go pro

Would this coach ever go pro?

Every year there are rumors surrounding several college football coaches about which one might end up in the pros coaching on Sunday rather than Saturday. Those rumors are getting started early as the Orlando Sentinel's Mike Bianchi is reporting that Florida State's Jimbo Fisher is already the consensus top pick that teams are coveting this year.

Bianchi asked Fisher about his response should an NFL team come calling and FSU fans will like to hear this:

"I've had people inquire, but nothing that I wanted to pursue at the time. The NFL is not something that I'm driving to do. You listen to all offers, but I say this all the time: I'm extremely happy at Florida State; I love being here. We've built some great things."

Should he stay at FSU it's likely the Seminoles will win another National Championship and a few ACC Championships too. This year's tough games get started early with Ole Miss on Labor Day in Orlando and at Louisville two weeks later.

Fisher does all the things pro team GMs like: he wins, develops talent, is offensive-minded and knows how to motivate his players. We'll have to see how this season plays out because if it turns into a bad one, Fisher may very well bolt to try his hand at the pros much like Nick Saban did with the Miami Dolphins over a decade ago.
