The coaches named this Heisman winner as the best player of all time

Who is the best of all time?

ESPN polled 97 FBS coaches for one of the most divisive questions in college football: who is the best player of all time?

According to that poll, it is Georgia running back Herschel Walker.

Walker rushed for over 5,000 yards in just three seasons at Georgia, helping the Bulldogs win a national title in 1980. He probably should have won the Heisman Trophy that season, but no need to worry; he took home the award two years later.

Rounding out the Top 5: Archie Griffin, Barry Sanders, Bo Jackson, and Earl Campbell.

Players from the 1970s and 1980s made up the entire Top 5, with Tim Tebow representing the youngest player on the list with a No. 6 finish. Tebow was also the only quarterback to make it into the Top 10.
