Christian McCaffrey had one of the most impressive statistical seasons of all time in 2015. The Stanford running back rushed for 2,019 yards and eight touchdowns, had 645 yards and five touchdowns receiving, and then another 1,070 yards in the return game. Overall, McCaffrey had over 3,800 all-purpose yards, helping lead him to a second-place finish in the Heisman.
That wasn't enough for him to be called the "most dynamic" player in college football by NFL.com, though.
Taking the honor instead? Michigan defensive back Jabrill Peppers, who literally took snaps all over the field for Michigan last season. With Jim Harbaugh evolving in his second year with Michigan, it only figures that Peppers could find himself in even more spots more often, as Harbaugh will do anything to exploit Peppers's talents.
NFL.com ranked the Top 16 most dynamic players, and a surprising omission was Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson. It makes some sense why Watson might be on the list, and he doesn't fit the position versatility that most players on here have.
However, if Houston quarterback Greg Ward can rank No. 4 on here, then Watson — who passed for 4,000 and rushed for 1,000 yards in 2015 — should have certainly been on the list.
