The schools with the most players in the Super Bowl may surprise you

The Super Bowl is just a day away, as the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos will face off in Super Bowl 50 on Sunday.

When taking a look at the rosters of the two teams, you would expect to see a lot of players from some of the top programs in college football. And in fact, Ohio State leads all schools with six former players competing in Super Bowl 50. However, the next two schools may be a bit of a surprise.

Of course, no offense to the Tennessee and Georgia Tech programs, as both have had some recent success, and Peyton Manning and Demaryius Thomas are two of the most recognizable players in this Super Bowl. However, considering all of the talent that schools like Florida, Alabama, Miami, and Florida State have been putting in the NFL recently, you would expect them to be ahead of Tennessee and Georgia Tech.

The other surprise here has to be Oregon State, too, as well... they have had several seasons recently where they have fielded bad teams. Putting three players in the Super Bowl should be considered an accomplishment for them.
