This is easily the biggest recruiting upset of the 2018 class so far.
On Saturday, Kansas football shocked the recruiting world when two four-star recruits — as well as two other recruits — announced that they had committed to the Jayhawks. Apparently Kansas wasn't finished, as they have since added four-star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase (6-foot-2, 195 pounds, Metairie, La.) to the mix.

According to his Twitter account, Chase also had offers from schools like Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Tennessee, and Auburn.
Kansas picked up seven commitments over the weekend, six of which came from Louisiana-based recruits. This will be an interesting trend to watch for Kansas and head coach David Beaty, as Kansas can finally see something positive after going 14-70 over the past seven seasons.
As of right now, Kansas ranks ninth in 247Sports recruiting rankings. That's probably going to change drastically by the end of the recruiting cycle next February, but it's a helluva start that Kansas fans should be proud of.
