The Michigan Wolverines have officially emerged from the doldrums of the Adidas era, and as of Aug. 1, Jim Harbaugh's team is the first football squad sponsored exclusively by Jordan Brand. While Michigan did drop a selection of apparel at the crack of midnight, there are a few items (most notably football jerseys) being held off for a later date.

With that in mind, some members of the football team revealed the team's new cleats on Monday and they are already a massive hit.
Junior wide receiver Maurice Ways took to Twitter with a video to show the world his new kicks:
In addition, Michigan's highly-touted transfer quarterback, John O'Korn, fired away on Instagram to show off the cleats he will be playing in when the 2016 campaign opens:
With reactions such as these (with more almost certain to come), it is clear that the fan base was not alone in yearning for the end of the Adidas regime and a return to the normalcy that Nike brings to a once flagship program for the brand. Seeing Jumpman symbols on football gear will take some getting used to for many folks, but there is a certain style to the brand and Michigan is already embracing the change in a big way.
