This college squad literally pulled someone out of the crowd for its starting QB

A literal 12th man.

Against Fordham Saturday afternoon, disaster struck when Navy's starting quarterback, Tago Smith, went down with an injury.

Freshman Malcolm Perry was the next best option, but he was in the stands with the Brigade. Naturally, Navy pulled him out of the stands and had him change out of his dress whites into a football uniform.

Navy is still in the midst of transitioning from last year's Heisman candidate, Keenan Reynolds, to now a freshman who was watching the game from the stands.
