Baron Browning is one of the top players in the Class of 2017 and, as a result, a "who's who" of the college football world is keeping close tabs on the five-star outside linebacker from Kennedale, TX. Those top programs now reportedly have a date to circle on the calendar, though, as Browning will be announcing his college choice on Nov. 29.

At this point, pinning down a "favorite" for the 6-foot-3, 230-pound linebacker is difficult, but there are many quality options for Browning. Texas currently leads the way in terms of 247's "Crystal Ball", with Baylor, Ohio State, Alabama and Michigan also in the mix.
Browning ranks as the No. 8 prospect in the country according to 247's composite rankings, and with that, it is no surprise that names like Urban Meyer, Jim Harbaugh and Nick Saban would be in hot pursuit. It will be interesting to track Browning's movements in terms of official visits over the next handful of months, but even as the best of the best take the field for the 2016 college football season, there will be plenty of eyes on this top-10 prospect and his commitment date at the end of November.
For now, Browning will simply be taking the field as a high school senior with all of the possibilities in the world in front of him. Stay tuned.
