Four-star stud defensive tackle TK Chimedza out of the IMG Academy is returning home and is joining the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
The class of 2018 star revealed the decision via his personal Twitter account Wednesday afternoon.
This is a huge get for the Yellow Jackets and head coach Paul Johnson, as Chimedza is the No. 28 DT in the class of 2018.
Chimedza choosing Georgia Tech is kind of a shocker, as 247sports' Crystal Ball predictions had Duke with a 33 percent chance of landing him, along with rival Georgia getting a 33 percent chance, too.
Chimedza received a number of big-time offers in his recruitment that included: Tennessee, Florida State, Oregon, Mississippi State and Missouri.
the four-star DT is the No. 209 player overall in the class of 2018, via 247sports' composite rankings.
