Former Houston coach Tom Herman was always going to Texas. It looks now like no other school had a real shot without dramatically over-bidding.
Herman sent out a tweet on Wednesday, and it shows exactly why he was always bound to be the Longhorns' head coach. In the tweet, Herman compared his new Texas head football coach business card to the old one he had when he was a Texas graduate assistant in 1999.

Look at that top card. It shows some wear and tear. It has a crease from being folded in half at some point. However, it's in pretty great condition for a business card that is over 16 years old.
Obviously some people keep mementos from their first major jobs, but this had clearly been a long time coming for Coach Herman.
