Wide receiver Stephen Guidry (6-foot-4, 190 pounds, Morganza, LA) is one of the top JUCO recruits for the 2017 recruiting cycle. He is rated as a four-star by 247Sports, and the No. 4 overall JUCO recruit for the year.
Guidry had committed to South Carolina back on March 1, but two months later, it looks like he is reopening his recruitment.
With the hashtag "#USCWillForeverBeTop5", the Gamecocks might still have a chance at Guidry, who has the opportunity to be a play-maker at the FBS level. However, 247Sports tells a different story, as their Crystal Ball is now predicting that Guidry is a 100-percent lock to go to LSU.
The 247Sports Crystal Ball has been wrong before, and it could be wrong again here. However, the 100-percent prediction — combined with Guidry living close to Baton Rouge — make this a solid guess for the time being.
