Transferring 6’3” former 5-star DT says one squad “is definitely” at the top of his list

So far, he likes what he sees.

Former five-star defensive tackle and Texas Texas transfer Breiden Fehoko has taken visits to several schools, but after a recent visit to LSU he said the Tigers are on the top of his list.

Fehoko told Scout.com he liked how LSU coaches put an emphasis on defensive linemen, and how the coaches paid strict attention to detail.

"It was precise and straight to the point, no recruiting spiels," Fehoko said (subscription required).

Fehoko met with head coach Ed Orgeron, defensive coordinator Dave Aranda and defensive line coach Pete Jenkins.

"There's a big need and many schools may want me, but they made a emphasis to say after this year they need me," Fehoko said. "There is a need for that other end spot."

Fehoko has visited LSU, Auburn and Louisville, and he has a visit planned to Georgia on April 14. He plans to make a decision after the Georgia visit.

During his two years at Texas Tech, Fehoko recorded 7.5 tackles for loss, two sacks and one interception. He has two years of eligibility remaining.
