However, instead of celebrating his epic performance, after the game his fiancée Leana Lenee appeared upset with the star two-way player.

While it looks like Hunter is trying to hug his girl, Lenee has a scolding look on her face. With this in mind, fans have speculated he may have made her mad with something he did during the game.

That is, some say Hunter may have smiled at the cheerleaders after a big play.

All in all, much of the reactions have been criticizing Lenee for not being happy for her soon-to-be NFL husband after having arguably the best game of his collegiate career, in what may also be his last.

After the game, Lenee posted on Instagram, where she attempted to clear up any misconceptions of the couple's late game interaction.

"Us while yall talk s*** abt nothing yall know."

In view of the Heisman race, Hunter and Boise State's Ashton Jeanty have been neck-and-neck all year.

In his junior season, Hunter has put up career-high numbers, with 92 catches and 1,152 yards to go along with 14 touchdowns in 12 games this season. Not to mention, he also has four interceptions being a lockdown corner on the defensive side of the ball.

While Jeanty has carried the ball 312 times for 2,288 yards (7.3 yards per carry) and has 28 rushing touchdowns.

To note, earlier in the year Hunter made a comment that he feels deserving to win the highly coveted award, considering he plays almost every snap of every game as one of the best receivers and corners in college football.
