The football world is in mourning as Hall of Fame coach passes away at age 92

He was an incredible coach and man.

Tubby Raymond is one of the winningest head coaches in all of college football as he has 300 career wins during his time at the University of Delaware. Unfortunately, he passed away at age 92 on Saturday as reported by WHYY. Many people posted something on social media to remember their former coach and friend:

Raymond has a 300-119-3 record as a football coach and was a baseball coach as well before he took over UD football in 1966 until he retired in 2001. From 1952 to 1964 he had a 178-81-3 record at Maine and Delaware. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2003 and won a Division-II National Championship in 1979 while appearing in the playoffs many years afterr as well.
