Two football recruits arrested under absolutely bizarre circumstances on Tuesday

Well this is a new one.

Hopefully these kids are able to look back one day at the comedy involved in this.

A former Big Ten head coach was arrested on Tuesday morning

According to The State out of South Carolina, football prospects Jonathan Muhammad II and Voshon St. Hill were arrested on Tuesday after the two got into a fight... during a criminal justice class.

At 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Rock Hill police officers joined attorneys and judges at South Pointe to talk with students about how the criminal justice system works as part of a student forum on the issue, [officer Mark] Bollinger said.

One of the officers was speaking with a class when "two students just stood up and started fighting in the middle of the class," Bollinger said.

Muhammad, who has a signed letter of intent to play with FCS South Carolina State, was charged with assault and batter for his role in the fight. St. Hill, who is signed with D-2 Newberry College, was charged with disorderly conduct.

Both students face expulsion from their high school for their role in fight. There is no word yet on if either player's Letter of Intent has been affected by the incident.
