The greatness of college football is really exemplified when two good team agree to play each other out of conference, and it looks like we will be getting another big matchup in the future between two contenders.
On Monday, Houston and Washington State agreed to play a home-and-home series starting in Houston in 2019 and returning to Pullman in 2020.
Houston and Washington State have played three times in the past, with their most recent meeting coming in 1988. Washington State won that game, which was a 24-22 win in the Aloha Bowl. Washington State owns the all-time series at 2-1.
Houston is coming off two high-profile out of conference games, as they played (and defeated, mind you) Oklahoma and Louisville last season. These games are usually great for the fans, so shout out to these two schools for stepping up to the plate and giving us what will hopefully be a fun matchup.
