This is just an embarrassing suspension.
USC linebacker Jabari Ruffin was ejected from Saturday's game against Alabama after he was caught stomping on the groin of an Alabama player after a play.
Apparently USC felt that the ejection should be the biggest part of Ruffin's punishment, as the Trojans are only going to suspend him for a half of their next game against Utah State.
An half-game suspension and an apology note? Wow, that sounds hard.
Seriously, USC; you are playing Utah State in your next game. You really couldn't sit Ruffin out for the whole game? You seriously can't allow behavior like that on the football field.
Be better, USC.
