Apparently USC had some leftover emotions from the 52-6 loss to Alabama.

USC offensive lineman Chuma Edoga got beat on a play in the first quarter against Utah State, and a small scuffle ensued after the play. Edoga swung and slapped a Utah State player, which was his first strike on this play.
Later, Edoga got tangled up and tried to push away the ref that was restraining him, resulting in a flag and an ejection.
Not a good look.
It will be interesting to see if USC deals down a punishment on Edoga on top of the ejection. The Trojans only suspended the linebacker that stomped on an Alabama player's groin for one half of the game against Utah State, so Edoga might not face much.
Come on, USC; no need for groin-stomping, slapping, and ref pushing.
