Video emerges of a Baylor WR abusing a dog and it is very hard to watch

According to New Channel 25 in Waco, Baylor wide receiver Ishmael Zamora has been charged with a Class C misdemeanor and fined after a Snapchat emerged of Zamora abusing a dog.

The video shows Zamora hitting a dog repeatedly with a belt before he kicks the canine away. The video was apparently posted to Snapchat in late June, appears to be captioned "Don't s**t in the house no more". It caused a Baylor student to report Zamora to Animal Control and the Baylor Police.

"I lost my temper trying to discipline him," Zamora said to New Channel 25 in a statement. "I've been through training with a dog trainer to help me learn new potty training tips."

Losing your temper to the point where you end up abusing the animal with a belt on video? "Trying to discipline" is definitely an understatement.

Here is what Baylor coach Jim Grobe said on the situation.

At the very least, hopefully Zamora has learned something from the incident and it prevents him from treating animals like this in the future. There does not appear to be any discipline for Zamora from the Baylor football team, and he is expected to be a larger part of the team's offense this year.

At this point, we have to wonder if Baylor can go a month without some sort of incident. They've become the literal bad news Bears at this point.
