Senior FIU safety Niko Gonzalez chased down UCF quarterback McKenzie Milton. Gonzalez led with his shoulder, but popped Milton in the helmet and that landed him an ejection.
In three seasons, Gonzalez has recorded 74 tackles, three interceptions and three fumble recoveries.
UCF leads 14-7 against FIU midway through the first quarter.
