Watch the hyped-up Vols ooze optimism in 'The Return of Tennessee Football'

"So, what do you do when you fall down? You get back up."

The Tennessee Volunteers' proud football program has fallen on hard times, coming up on nearly a decade since it posted a 10-win season. However, there is no shortage of optimism in Knoxville these days as the program appears to be on the upswing under coach Butch Jones.

Playing off that renewed optimism and enthusiasm, a video entitled "The Return of Tennessee Football" is making the rounds, and the above quote leads it off, a message to fans that this team isn't going to lay down.

As is the case with most hype videos, the background track is enough to get the fans going, but with a returning group of strong, young talent (headlined by Jalen Hurd and Joshua Dobbs) and a coach in Jones that seems to galvanize the entire program, there is good reason for positive mojo.

The video ends with a lasting image of Jones being mobbed by his players and then addressing the faithful in Knoxville. It seems odd that a 7-6 season in 2014 would bring about that kind of feeling, but the future appears bright for Tennessee, and the Vols are ready to "return."
