However, which teams qualify as the "angriest" fan bases? Well, that's what CBS Sports took a shot at ranking, and their Top 5 contains some teams that you might not have expected. Let's take a look.

1. Texas A&M
2. Miami
3. Louisville
4. Penn State
5. Mississippi State

For the record, Florida State was listed as an honorable mention.

The writer for CBS here made the rankings based off of his personal experiences, so there is no scientific data behind this thinking. However, there is some potential logic for at least the first two on the list. Texas A&M, for example, has a large fan base and is a team that is currently trying to make a name for itself as an SEC power and the premier football program in Texas. It makes since that the worst of the Aggie fans might make a negative mark that some people won't forget.

Similar things could be said for Miami. They gained a large following in the 80s and 90s, but they have become a middling team ever since. Some of those fans have gotten hungry for a title, and that might not come across in the best way over the internet.

Every fan base has bad fans, so no need to act as if your fan base is perfect. Of course, the better you act as a fan can make a difference, so stay classy, folks.
