Hill was arrested by the Mississippi Highway Patrol on Highway 82, but he was at practice for the Bulldogs on Friday according to the Clarion-Ledger.
Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen said Hill will have to pay a fine.
"He has some legal issues he is going to have to deal with and pay a fine, I think," Mullen said via the Clarion-Ledger.

The announcement for Hill comes only a day after Nick Saban announced starting defensive lineman Da'Shawn Hand won't be suspended for his DUI arrest.
Hand was sleeping in his car when he was arrested, and Saban said he will have to go to a 48-hour treatment program and complete community service to avoid further punishment.
