After several regional and super regional tournaments, the final eight baseball teams for the Men's College World Series are set.
Here are the teams and the brackets they're in:
- Bracket 1: No. 2 Florida, No. 7 Virginia, TCU, Oral Roberts
- Bracket 2: No. 1 Wake Forest, No. 5 LSU, No. 8 Stanford, Tennessee
Plenty of star power will be on display in Omaha, too, which should make this one of the more exciting finishes in recent memory. As this season winds down, several teams are home to top prospects for the upcoming 2023 MLB Draft, which will take place from July 9-11 in Seattle.
These prospects include:
- Dylan Crews, outfielder, LSU
- Paul Skenes, pitcher, LSU
- Wyatt Langford, outfielder, Florida
- Chase Dollander, pitcher, Tennessee
- Hurston Waldrep, pitcher, Florida
- Kyle Teel, catcher, Virginia
- Rhett Lowder, pitcher, Wake Forest
- Tommy Troy, shortstop, Stanford
Crews and Skenes are projected to be the top two overall picks, with Langford projected to go No. 3. Crews is batting .434 on the year with 17 home runs and 67 RBIs; Langford is hitting .373 with 18 home runs and 48 RBIs. The top pitching prospect, Skenes, is 12-2 on the year with a 1.77 ERA across 107 innings and has a ridiculous 188 strikeouts.
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons are the odds-on favorite to win the Men's College World Series at +275. Seven of the eight teams have odds of +1200 or better, with Oral Roberts on the outskirts at +2200. With so many top prospects set to play and the odds so close, this is gearing up to be an exciting stretch of games for the next 10 days or so.

The College World Series is a double-elimination tournament that will start June 16 and run through June 25 or 26. It'll be played at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.
