This 11-Year-Old Asked Paul Skenes to Date His Mom, Then He Went Viral

After Paul Skenes helped LSU baseball win a national championship, one kid in attendance asked Skenes to date his mom.

The LSU Tigers won the Men's College World Series recently with a lot of help from star pitcher and top MLB prospect Paul Skenes — and as a result, an 11-year-old from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, wants him to date his single mother.

The video first surfaced on Twitter with the preteen, Blaysen Zimm, suggesting the idea to Skenes, and it now has over a half a million views. It was also "liked" by Skenes, so things are obviously getting serious.

"Just going through the comments, everyone is saying, 'That kid is the GOAT, and I'm like, 'Heck yeah he is,'" Haley Zimm, Blaysen's mom, told the WBRZ news outlet.

Blaysen's mom said her phone got a lot of action on their ride home from LSU's Alex Box Stadium.

"I was seriously speechless," she said. "I don't know where that came from. I didn't even know what to do."

Was Blaysen done here?

Nope.

He also talked with WBRZ and said, "Be my stepdad Paul Skenes."

When asked about his newfound TikTok and internet fame, Blaysen said, "It's definitely not normal" and "I just was just looking out for my mama."

"I want her to be taken care of, and I love her," Blaysen added.

Blaysen and the rest of his Louisiana Pride baseball teammates have practice on July 12 at Gator Park at 6 p.m., and they're hoping Skenes attends.

And, yes, Blaysen's mom will be there. Just in case.
