Kailyn Hasty, a freshman cheerleader at Middle Tennessee State University, was initially arrested after police responded to an apartment complex in Murfreesboro last week, according to the New York Post.
Police said Hasty allegedly assaulted another person and was identified as the primary aggressor. Authorities did not release details about what allegedly happened or publicly identify the alleged victim.
Hasty was booked into jail and subsequently released.
Then came arrest No. 2. Three days later, Hasty was reportedly riding as a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over by police shortly before midnight in Murfreesboro.
During the traffic stop, officers discovered that the driver of the vehicle had a protective order against Hasty, according to police.
Hasty was arrested again, this time for allegedly violating the protective order. She was booked into the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center before again being released.
Hasty graduated from Tullahoma High School in Tennessee earlier this year before joining the cheerleading program at Middle Tennessee State.
The school lists her as a member of its 2026-27 cheerleading team. No additional details about the original alleged assault have been released.
