A small selection of games for the Nintendo Switch have gone on sale

A sudden change in policy brings a pleasant surprise to fans.

Two things are inevitable when it comes to Nintendo: console exclusives and static prices. Or, at least they used to be; Nintendo's sudden change in policy with regards to third party titles on their newest console, the Switch, came as a pleasant surprise to many fans of the company last year, and it seems that it doesn't stop there. While the sales aren't on the Switch's eShop itself, a selection of titles for the console have gone on sale at a third party retailer.

The first is the immensely popular The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ which launched earlier this year to applause from the game's fan base. Critics praised Afterbirth+ as an excellent expansion to the already content-rich indie game, which itself had received glowing reviews on its original release. Today the title is 25% off at only $29.99.

Afterbirth+ is joined by puzzle game Puyo Puyo Tetris, dancing game Just Dance 2017, and Lego City Undercover at $29.99, $39.99, and $39.99, respectively. So whether you're a puzzle junkie, an active gamer, or just craving an experience nostalgic of your favorite childhood toys, there's something for everyone.

Check out the sale on Best Buy's website, where you can browse not only the discounted items but an entire catalogue of games for the Nintendo Switch.
