Big things are happening in the world of real-time strategy franchise Total War, and we're not just talking about the upcoming Warhammer II. Even as we approach the game's release date, the developers at Creative Assembly (CA) continue to please their community with regular sneak peaks at the final product - as well as a number of reveals related to the studio's other ongoing projects.

According to an announcement made over CA's blog, those attending E3 can look forward to some never-before-seen gameplay footage, in addition to some other "big reveals." CA elaborated quickly, revealing that the studio is now working on not just one, but three other projects.
"While we are naturally very excited for our fantasy Total War title coming up, we now have 3 historical projects in full production, so the next few months should be pretty interesting for strategy fans of all tastes."
Although fans have long been aware that the Total War: Warhammer series did not mean an end to the creation of historically-set installments, any news related to these alternate projects will always create quite the stir. This time, CA unveiled a bit of concept art to fan the flames. Check it out:
CA has also confirmed the upcoming arrival of two sets of DLC for Total War: Warhammer. That's right, the first one. Despite the fact that the game's sequel is already well on its way, Creative Assembly has seen fit to not only round off their promised assortment of content for Warhammer with "An Old Friend," but also to include another Race Pack as well.
"Having said that, I can say it won't be the last addition to WARHAMMER. As mentioned in the previous blog a few months ago, we'd been thinking about what sort of content could be added to the first game, and what that might be. We've hit on something we think is a pretty good opportunity to add some more content to the game, so there will be a new Race Pack released later in the year, before WARHAMMER II is released."
This of course has led to rampant speculation in the fan community, which so far only knows that "No, it's not Kislev (Sorry!)." There's little else to go on otherwise, except for a short comment left on the official Reddit discussion thread by one of the developers. Rich_A_CA stated amidst the wild guesswork that, "Your all so cold ?," leading many to suggest that the new pack will likely involve the Norsca tribes of the far North.
