In a special message over the studio's official UK Twitter account, Nintendo has announced that WWE 2K18 will be coming to the Switch - with a little help from championship wrestler Seth Rollins, of course.

This marks the first time in five years that the series will be teaming up with Nintendo to launch on one of the studio's consoles; the last time was in 2012, when WWE '13 released for the Wii alongside the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
This decision likely coincides with the extreme popularity of the Switch, which broke records for Nintendo when it launched earlier this year. Since its positive reception, numerous titles from third-party franchises have made similar announcements, despite many of them having no previous installments on any of Nintendo's products.
Though the announcement itself contains no release date, an article on WWE.com confirms that the game will release on Oct. 17, 2017 for all three consoles.
"WWE 2K18 is not yet rated by the ESRB and is currently scheduled for worldwide release in Fall 2017 on Nintendo Switch as well as on Oct. 17, 2017, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One."
A blog post mentioned on said article covers a number of WWE 2K18's new features, which include a new carry system, 8-person matches, new elimination mechanics, thousands of new animations, and much more. Check out the full post to read through them yourself.
