It's just the injury plague that keeps on plaguing.
After taking out top guys like John Cena, Seth Rollins and Randy Orton before Wrestlemania, the injury bug hit Bray Wyatt and Enzo Amore in recent weeks, and now it's reportedly hit the fast-rising Kevin Owens.
Here's the latest from Wrestling Inc.
"Kevin Owens may have suffered an injury towards the end of his match against Sami Zayn at Sunday's WWE live event in Columbia, South Carolina. Sami won the match with a Blue Thunderbomb but as soon as the pin was counted, referee Charles Robinson threw up the dreaded "X" for help from the back and Owens was helped out."
Refs occasionally throw the "X" on television as part of a work, but it would seem odd for them to sell an injury at a house show. We'll be tuned in to Raw Monday night, and hopefully will catch a glimpse of a healthy Owens.
We'll continue to update this story as more information becomes available.
