WWE Backlash may have just taken place Sunday evening, but Smackdown's next brand-exclusive PPV is already right around the corner with Money In The Bank that happens on June 23 in St. Louis, MS.
The highlight, of course, of this PPV is the Money In The Bank ladder match that involves climbing a ladder(s) to grab a briefcase that contains a contract that guarantees the superstar a future world title opportunity whenever they choose to, well, cash it in.
On Tuesday, Smackdown Live commissioner Shane McMahon revealed who would be participating in this year's match and it's a loaded group that includes: Baron Corbin, Dolph Ziggler, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, A.J. Styles, and Shinsuke Nakamura.
The obvious thing to note here is that including this group of six makes a lot of logical sense as the three babyfaces and the three heels involved faced each other in single's action at Backlash two nights prior. Pitting them against each other in a chaotic ladder match only adds more fuel to that fire.
Out of this group, the obvious favorites would be Baron Corbin, AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura. Still, there are a lot of ways WWE could go here, but, no matter what, this figures to be a show-stealing affair.
