When UFC lightweight champ Rafael dos Anjos pulled out of his scheduled fight with Conor McGregor due to a broken foot, the UFC needed to find a replacement for the UFC 196 pay-per-view on March 5.
Enter Nate Diaz, who was prepared for the pre-fight press conference that took place on Wednesday. Unfortunately for Diaz, he was not prepared enough for the best talker in the business, as McGregor tore him apart with a back-and-forth that eventually turned into a heavily McGregor-sided affair.
Diaz got some decent jabs in, but in the end, McGregor won the war of words to set up the actual fight in a week.
