Conor McGregor may have tapped out Saturday night at UFC 196 against Nate Diaz, but he remains the featherweight champion and will still likely one day fight for the lightweight crown.
Following the loss, Jose Aldo called McGregor out on Twitter:
McGregor didn't take kindly to the jab and slammed Aldo and dos Anjos in a fiery Facebook post:
For the specifics when it comes to Aldo and dos Anjos, here's what McGregor said:
"Aldo you are a pussy. Dos anjos you are a pussy.
When the history books are written, I showed up. You showed up on Twitter."
Dos Anjos pulled out of the UFC 196 lightweight championship fight after he broke his foot. Aldo was then offered the fight according to Aldo's coach, but turned it down because he wasn't in shape.
We'll see if Aldo's prediction of a UFC 200 showdown is accurate in the weeks moving forward.
