Conor McGregor has already landed a new job during his time away from UFC

The former two-weight division champion is heading to HBO as a member of the hit series Game of Thrones.

McGregor, who is expected to be out until May as he tends to his pregnant girlfriend, was rumored to be on the show, and UFC president Dana White acknowledged as much on Fox, per Bloody Elbow.

"I did hear that. I knew a few months ago that they were interested in putting (McGregor) in the show," White said in an appearance with Fox Sports Live. "I'm glad he did it. It will be great. The show is huge. It's awesome, and I'm excited for him."

McGregor has fought in three different weight classes over the past year, winning the featherweight and middleweight belts, while losing a 170-pound brawl to Nate Diaz.

WWE is also said to have interest in McGregor during his UFC hiatus.
