Dana White spills the beans on what happened between the UFC and Conor McGregor

Here's reportedly why McGregor walked away from the UFC.

Conor McGregor abruptly retired from the UFC on Tuesday, leading to nearly everyone wondering what the hell happened from just over 24 hours prior when the champ was tweeting about his intense training for UFC 200.

According to UFC President Dana White, the issue arose after McGregor didn't want to leave his training camp in Iceland for promotional appearances, per UFC.com:

"UFC President Dana White announced Tuesday that UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor has been pulled from his UFC 200 main event against Nate Diaz on July 9.

White revealed that the decision was made by the promotion after McGregor informed UFC officials that he would not participate in any promotional activities, including a commercial shoot and press conferences."

The one-time featherweight champion is reportedly demanding an insane amount of money to return:

McGregor is now hinting at other outside options, including a possible WWE run.
