Bret "The Hitman" Hart is returning to the WWE after his battle with prostate cancer.

He won't quite return to his standing as the "Excellence of Execution" in the ring, but contender for the women's championship, Natalya Neidhart's uncle Bret will stand in her corner when she battles Charlotte Flair, with her father and fellow wrestling legend Ric in her corner Sunday, May 1.

For Hart, it's his first WWE appearance since he started his battle with cancer. While he's "beaten cancer" for now, Hart notes in his sit-down interview with WWE.com he's not out of the woods as of yet:

"Well, there's always a chance it could come back, but it seems my cancer was contained within my prostate. I have to get checked every three months for the next couple of years, and eventually it will be once a year, and eventually, in 10 years, they'll tell me that I'm cancer-free forever."

Our thoughts are with the Hart family as he continues to recover from his battle with prostate cancer.
