Conor McGregor might just be the top featherweight in the UFC, but evidently fans think he'd be able to hold his own against boxing royalty — Floyd Mayweather.

After rumors spread that the UFC champ and the undefeated boxer (49-0) were set to do battle in the ring, fans weighed in and the overwhelming majority picked the boxer to take the bout.
McGregor is a heavy striker, showing knockout power on more than one occasion. But he hasn't battled anyone as shifty as Mayweather, whose brand of fighting might not be the most entertaining, but it is the most effective.
Mayweather ended his career with a 53 percent KO rate. McGregor is 19-3 over his career, finishing 89 percent of his bouts by knockout. His lone three losses have come at the hands of a submission.
