Fans of a former WCW champion will be thrilled to hear his latest good news

It's about time.

Diamond Dallas Page will now be immortalized.

Page will join Kurt Angle and other standout former wrestling stars as he joins the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2017, per Rolling Stone.

"Bottom line is, work ethic equals dreams, and I am walking proof that that's a fact. They had you give them an inscription for inside your ring. I wrote, "Work ethic = dreams!"

DDP was one of the homegrown stars of WCW, where he won the World Heavyweight Championship three times, United States Championship twice and tag-team titles four times.

He joined WCW in 1991, started wrestling in 1994 and stayed with the promotion through its sale in 2001 to WWE.

After a strange run in WWE, where he stalked the Undertaker's wife and became a motivational speaker, Page left the promotion with a series of injuries. He worked the indy scene for a bit, ran for a year in Total Nonstop Action and eventually launched his DDP Yoga series, which has truly saved the lives of the likes of Jake "The Snake" Roberts and Mick Foley.

Page has since made sporadic returns to the WWE, including a surprise entrance into the 2015 Royal Rumble.
