"Within a matter of days, Amar had lost his battle with Stage 4 stomach cancer. The UFC veteran turned alleged contract killer passed away at 3am local time on Monday, June 27, 2016."
Suloev landed big fights with the likes of Chuck Liddell and Chael Sonnen before stepping away from MMA and allegedly entering a terrifying new line of work.
Suloev was reportedly arrested in 2013 as part of a gang that had attempted to assassinate political figures in Russia. He spent three years behind bars before his release in February 2016, when he was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Suloev's health deteriorated quickly, and it was never discovered if he was involved in the attempted assassinations.
