Former WWE Champ reveals he wants one last match, but only against this other former champ

This should happen at some point.

Like many WWE superstars before him, Batista reached the top of the WWE mountain and left for Hollywood late in his career.

However, since Batista's rise in Hollywood, he has returned briefly, and he revealed on Talk is Jericho this week when he wants to come back, but he only wants to work with Triple H.

Via Cageside Seats:

"I've asked, yeah, I've asked. Well, there's... I've asked for what I want. I'll tell you and I've talked to Hunter about it and I've talked to Vince about it. I said I would come back and run a whole program with Hunter. That's the only thing I'm interested in doing. They're just not interested in it, you know?"

Triple H and Batista obviously have a lot of history, so this isn't all that surprising that he wants to go out against the guy who put him over in a big way at WrestleMania 21.

Batista continued:

"At this point, no, because it would be my retirement thing. It would be what I would go out on. I would come back and I'd do a whole program and then I'd be done."

Not only does he only want to work with Hunter, he wants him to be his last match.

Triple H has been in the habit of putting over younger stars at the last few WrestleManias, but you'd think this is something that he'd be very much into.

Still, Batista notes he's been pitching it for a while now, and WWE hasn't seemed all that interested in the idea.
