in their UFC women's bantamweight championship bout during the UFC 193 event at Etihad Stadium on November 15, 2015 in Melbourne, Australia.

Miesha Tate completely tears down Ronda Rousey ahead of potential rematch

Miesha Tate is not holding back from laying the verbal smackdown on Ronda Rousey.

Ronda Rousey has had Miesha Tate's number inside the Octagon. The two have faced off twice in their respective MMA careers, with Rousey winning by submission both times.

However, right now is Tate's time to shine. Tate (18-5-0) submitted Holly Holm (10-1-0) at UFC 196 to become the UFC women's bantamweight champion, a title that Holm had taken from Rousey (12-1-0) four months ago. Now that Tate is on top, she is firing all of the shots at here likely next opponent: Rousey.

From Jay Mohr Sports, via MMAFighting.com:

"It's like, [Rousey] is a broken woman. I don't know if she'll ever come back the same. But I have proven that I can come back from adversity and I do come back and I will come back."

Even though Tate is riding high right now, those are strong words when you consider the two loses she has to Rousey. Hopefully we don't have to wait long, as UFC president Dana White has apparently earmarked Rousey vs. Tate for the bantamweight championship at the first opportunity.

We will get to see if Tate is right, or if Rousey is able to bounce back from the Holly Holm loss after all.
