Eccentric light heavyweight contender Kevin Randleman passed away at the age of 44 on Thursday. According to Fox Sports, Randleman was hospitalized after suffering from pneumonia and later died of heart failure.

Randleman, known for his bright blonde hair, wild takedowns and ferocious punches hasn't fought since 2011, ending his pro career on a string of four consecutive losses.
Early in his career, he was as fearsome a fighter as there was, with the ability to end any fight early. He won the UFC heavyweight crown all the way back at UFC 23 and was a two-time NCAA champion wrestler.
