MMA rival says she knows why Ronda Rousey hasn't returned to the Octagon, and it's a doozy

Could this rumor be true?

Dana White has already announced why Ronda Rousey won't be fighting at UFC 205, after she had a knee surgery that she's not expected to return from until at least late 2016, early 2017.

But her longtime rival, Cris "Cyborg" Justino tossed out a pretty interesting rumor as to why the former champ still hasn't returned close to a year after her bantamweight title loss.

UFC President Dana White squashed the rumor, per TMZ despite Rousey's previous talk of having a child with current boyfriend and heavyweight fighter Travis Browne.

Rousey has reportedly been filming movies over the past few months, which is what was rumored to have pushed back her return.

Of course White hasn't been the most forthright about rumors in the past, but that doesn't mean he isn't being honest about this one.

Rousey, if she returns, is expected to battle whoever the bantamweight champion is in her first bout back. The belt has been the object of "hot potato" in recent months after Holly Holm knocked out Rousey. Holm lost the belt in her first title defense to Miesha Tate, who lost the belt in her first title defense to the heavy-handed Amanda Nunes.
