Nate Diaz responds to alleged Conor McGregor retirement

What the hell is going on in UFC?

UFC has to be freaking out right now.

Conor McGregor tweeted out of nowhere on Tuesday that he would be retiring, with reports following up saying that the tweet was not a hoax.

The frenzy was fueled by Nate Diaz, the man who beat Conor McGregor at UFC 196, and who was scheduled to rematch with McGregor at UFC 200. Diaz added his own tweet, one that is seen as more of a joke that a serious response.

If McGregor, is indeed retiring, then it is an enormous blow for UFC and president Dana White. McGregor has been the promotion's top draw over the past two years, and is still expected to be the top draw in the future, even with the loss to Diaz at UFC 196.

However, if McGregor is indeed done, it's not like he didn't make out like a bandit while the game was good. McGregor made millions, and if he wants to retire at 27, he certainly has the bank account to do it.
