The MMA legend made the stunning decision just a day before she was booked to defender her title at Invitica FC 22, but Cyborg saw a huge fight opportunity in the UFC, so she jumped at the opportunity.

Via Bleacher Report:

"After her victory, [Germaine de Randamie] at 145 pounds, the UFC determined that she will be the No. 1 contender for my title belt," Cyborg said (h/t MMAFighting.com's Shaun al-Shatti for the transcription). "I'm healthy now and I'm strong, and I really want to show my fans why I'm still 10 years undefeated at 145 pounds."

It's easy to understand why Cyborg made the decision to move on from Invitica in favor of having a high-profile match with de Randamie to continue her undefeated streak.

Cyborg reportedly want's the fight to happen this summer, but it's unclear as of right now when the bout will take place.
