Pro wrestling can be fantastically awful on occasion and Tuesday night's debut of Smackdown Live offered possibly the best example of that we've ever seen.

Viktor of WWE tag team the Ascension was locked in a battle royal, with the winner offered a shot to fight for the No. 1 contendership later in the night, when the camera found him in the corner behind his partner Konnor hitting nothing but air in the direction of Kane.

There might not ever be a funnier example of just how awful wrestling can be at times.
